Master Radiofrequency Ablation for Morton’s Neuroma
Transform your podiatry practice with a pioneering, hands-on course designed to enhance patient outcomes and expand your clinical skills.
We’re excited to introduce a brand-new course designed for podiatrists who want to expand their scope of practice and provide advanced treatment for Morton’s neuroma.
Radiofrequency ablation is a safe, effective, and proven treatment, yet it remains underutilised by many podiatrists. Our course will equip you with the knowledge and skills to incorporate this powerful technique into your practice, leading to better patient outcomes.
Don’t miss the opportunity to enhance your practice with this innovative treatment.
What is Radiofrequency Nerve Ablation?
Radiofrequency nerve ablation is a minimally invasive procedure performed under ultrasound guidance, using high-frequency radio waves to target and heat the neuroma. Typically, the procedure is carried out at a temperature of 90°C, which effectively denervates the neuroma, preventing it from transmitting pain signals.
A well-established treatment in medicine, radiofrequency nerve ablation has been used for many years, primarily in the management of chronic back pain. The results are comparable to those of open surgery (neurectomy) but offer the advantages of lower risks and a faster recovery time.
